Our family really enjoyed our stay. It was very spacious Everything was nice and clean. We did have to call about the pool, but the host was very nice and sent someone out to get it cleaned for us without any problems. Will definitely recommend.
While our stay was relaxing, there were a few issues. The weeds around the fire pit were taller than some of our grandchildren. The carpet in the cinema room was very dirty and had not been swept. They offered for them to come back to sweep and clean the fronts of the cabinets in the kitchen that had coffee all down the front, but we were all coming in and that would have been a lot. We asked for a bit early check in, but was told they were cleaning and it may not be possible. We were fine with that, which we communicated, knowing that checking was at 4. We were expecting it to be completely clean. The air conditioning wasn’t working on the second floor. The TV in cinema room also wasn’t working. They immediately sent someone to fix both as soon as they knew. The pool area was nice. The life float was broken in half. Towel rack fell off the wall when taking off towel. The management helped with issues upfront. The carpet was our only “main” issue as we had grandchildren, some crawling
The accommodations were comfortable overall, though the location is somewhat inconvenient, with limited nearby amenities—primarily a Dollar General. The cabin itself is very beautiful and has a lot of charm, but some aspects of the construction and finishing details could be improved. The stairs in the pool require extra caution, as they are slippery and feel unsafe.<br/>That said, the hosts were friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which made the stay more enjoyable. For the price, it offers decent value. However, if you plan to visit Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Sevierville frequently during your stay, the distance may be a drawback.
