Stoney Creek Retreat is the entire 6-acre creekside compound inside the gated Shagbark Resort, booked as one private stay. It combines Stoney Creek Lodge and Stoney Creek Bungalow under a single reservation, giving your group the full property — two separate homes, one flowing creek, one flat grassy yard, and room for up to 23 guests with no strangers next door.

This is a purpose-built setup for large families, multi-generational trips, multiple couples traveling together, and friend groups who want to share proximity without sacrificing privacy. Everyone is together on the same land, but each household gets its own front door, kitchen, living space, and bedrooms.

SHAGBARK RESORT AMENITIES
Guests have access to the gated resort's seasonal outdoor pool, pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball court, and dog park. (Resort amenities are managed by the HOA and availability may vary seasonally.)

Mountain roads can be steep and winding — AWD/4WD recommended in rain or snow. Overnight vehicles must be registered for gate access prior to arrival; we'll coordinate before check-in. Smart-lock entry on both homes — no key handoff.

As a result, the hot tub may require additional time to reach optimal temperature and may not be fully heated the first night of your stay. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your reservation against unexpected changes or emergencies.
